The original owner of GritCycle, Marisa Wayne, came to Jenni for branding back in 2012. She wanted a logo that honored the legacy of her father, actor John Wayne, hence the logo’s eye-patch shape and studio name “Grit”.
GritCycle currently has 4 locations on the California coast that welcomes a local community with a shared interest in both physical fitness and philanthropy.
Over the past decade, it's been a pleasure watching the company succeed and help the brand evolve. Despite their growth and new ownership, the iconic G, created by Solmark, remains true.
